About Paul Skinner
Paul works with businesses, multi-stakeholder initiatives, governments and NGOs to bring positive change by changing the stories we live and work by for the better.
Not just the tightly controlled stories of corporate communications and marketing messages but the deeper stories that shape our perceptions, thoughts, intentions and achievements.
Paul’s books include Collaborative Advantage: How Collaboration Beats Competition as a Strategy for Success (Little, Brown 2018) and The Purpose Upgrade: Change Your Business to Save the World. Change the World to Save Your Business (Little, Brown 2022).
Paul has given keynote talks based on the pioneering ideas in his books to a diverse range of organisations such as the United Nations, Save the Children, the Women’s Forum for the Economy and Society and Sony Mobile. And he also regularly hosts MarketingKind xChanges, interviewing internationally renowned thought-leaders.
Through his advisory work at the Agency of the Future he supports leaders in finding and better articulating purpose and engaging all stakeholders for shared success.
Paul is also the founder of the MarketingKind community which connects business leaders and change-makers who are interested in shaping the stories of tomorrow through societal problem solving, peer-to-peer learning and collaborative volunteering.
He is also a trustee of Ventures for Humanity, has been awarded an honorary visiting fellowship by Edge Hill University Business School and has twice won Consultant of the Year awards from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
